Synopsis
In the Gunsmoke episode 'Professor Lute Bone', Dodge City is abuzz with the arrival of Professor Lute Bone, who claims to have developed a miraculous tonic that cures all ailments. The townsfolk are captivated by his charismatic lectures and the promises of health and vitality. Among them is Kitty, who enthusiastically shares her experience with the tonic, urging U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon to give it a try. However, Dillon remains skeptical, especially when Doc warns him about the potential dangers of the tonic, which may contain opium.
