Synopsis

In the episode titled The F. U., U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon returns to Dodge City to find that a local sodbuster, Onie Becker, has been shot dead in an alley. The news hits Dillon hard, especially since Becker was known to be harmless and unarmed at the time of his death. Dillon learns from his deputy Chester that Becker had been gambling at the Texas Trail earlier that day and had a heated argument with a newcomer, gambler Al Clovis. The circumstances surrounding Becker's murder raise immediate questions about Clovis's involvement.
