Privacy

This page covers goldie.fm — listening, accounts, and related product surfaces. It is written in plain English. We do not claim certifications we have not verified.

What this covers

Goldie is a free old-time radio station. You can browse and listen without an account. Optional sign-in unlocks library features (favorites, bookmarks, and similar). Paid Goldie Pro, when available, uses Stripe for billing.

What we collect

  • Signed-out listening: playback state and preferences may be stored in your browser (for example resume position and volume). We do not require an account to stream.
  • Accounts: if you sign in (magic link, Google, or Apple), we store the account details needed to authenticate you — typically email and display name, and a profile image when the provider sends one.
  • Library data: favorites, bookmarks, and similar library items tied to your account when you use those features.
  • Billing: if you subscribe to Goldie Pro, Stripe processes payment. We store entitlement and subscription status needed to honor your plan — not your full card number.
  • Analytics: when enabled, we use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, rough geography). Do not send secrets in forms or URLs.
  • Logs: servers may log request metadata (path, latency, coarse IP) for reliability and rate limiting.

Why we use it

To run the station: stream catalog audio, keep you signed in when you choose an account, remember listening progress on your device, deliver Pro entitlements, fix outages, and improve the product with aggregate usage signals.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your library or account data as a public catalog feed. Catalog audio comes from public archives (Internet Archive / OTRR); Goldie does not claim to own those recordings.

MCP and builders

The Goldie MCP server exposes public catalog data and static product info. It does not expose your library, favorites, or account data through MCP tools. Optional Bearer tokens are only used for rate limits. See the MCP privacy notice for that surface.
