Synopsis

In the gripping Gunsmoke episode titled Gunsmuggler, the tranquility of the frontier is shattered when a family of homesteaders is brutally murdered by the Pawnees, who are armed with rifles smuggled by a white man. U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon, portrayed by William Conrad, is alerted to the situation and quickly assembles a team, including Chester and an Indian scout, to track down the culprits and the source of the weapons. The urgency of their mission is underscored by the recent violence, and the stakes are high as they aim to prevent further attacks on innocent settlers.
