Synopsis

In Prunella's Chickens, we meet Bill Newton, a meek and mild-mannered man who is overshadowed by his imposing wife, Prunella. Bill's life revolves around her demands, and he has become accustomed to her constant nagging. One morning, Prunella orders him to take fifty of her chickens to town, a task he dreads. As he sits in the wagon, dozing off, he is jolted awake when the horses bolt at the sight of a rattlesnake, sending him tumbling into the crates of chickens.
