Synopsis

In Star Over Hong Kong, the story unfolds with the arrival of Celestine Mayhew, a beautiful and somewhat oblivious American movie star, who inadvertently becomes the center of a potential international incident. The episode opens with Randolph Harbison Smythe, the press attache to the governor of Hong Kong, who is there to welcome a significant political figure. However, the first person to disembark from the plane is not the expected dignitary but the exuberant Celestine, who is more interested in the glamour of her surroundings than the political implications of her visit.
