Synopsis

In the Gunsmoke episode titled Saludos, U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon is faced with a chilling case of murder that strikes at the heart of his duty. An Indian half-breed girl named Sochi has survived a horrific attack that left her husband, Walken Deer, dead. As she stumbles into Doc's office, bleeding and weak, she manages to convey the horror of the event: a white man rode into their camp, asked for food, and then shot her husband before turning the gun on her. With her life hanging in the balance, Sochi's only hope lies in identifying her attacker.
