Synopsis
In Gunsmoke: Bear Trap, the familiar landscape of Dodge City is once again fraught with danger as U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon navigates the complexities of law and order. The episode opens with Dillon and his deputy Chester discussing the stableman Andy Wehman, who is known for his exaggerated stories of heroism. However, the lighthearted banter quickly turns serious when Hod Logan, a recently paroled ex-convict, arrives in town. Logan's return is not merely a social visit; he harbors a grudge against Andy, who testified against him in court, leading to his imprisonment.
