Synopsis

In the Gunsmoke episode 'Speak to Me Fair', the tranquility of Dodge City is shattered when a young Kiowa Indian boy stumbles into town, visibly traumatized and unable to speak. U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon and his friend Chester quickly realize that the boy has suffered a horrific injury—his tongue has been cut out. This shocking discovery sets off a chain of events that intertwines the boy's fate with a series of cattle rustling incidents occurring at the nearby Traitsch Ranch.
