Synopsis

In the episode titled The Guitar, Weeb Pendle arrives in Dodge City, riding a scrawny mule and carrying a guitar. His simple-minded nature makes him an easy target for the local bullies, Tyler and Short, who take pleasure in mocking him. Pendle's lack of awareness about the danger he is in only adds to the tension as the bullies plot to scare him by pretending to hang him for his past as a Union soldier. The scene is set for a confrontation that highlights the cruelty of the townsfolk and the innocence of Pendle.
