Synopsis
In the Gunsmoke episode titled Braggart's Boy, Tom Cleveland arrives in Dodge City, full of youthful ambition and eager to embrace the life of a gunfighter. Having grown up in Philadelphia, Tom is unfamiliar with the harsh realities of the frontier, but he is determined to make a name for himself, influenced heavily by his father, Cleveland, a rough and tough cattleman. U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon meets Tom at the train station, where he quickly realizes that the young man’s confidence may be misplaced.
