Synopsis

In the gripping episode Phobia from the classic radio series Suspense, we are introduced to Emily Haven, a wealthy woman confined to a wheelchair due to a debilitating condition. Despite her affluence, Emily grapples with a profound and irrational fear of metal, which has dictated her life choices and even the design of her home. The story unfolds in the aftermath of a shocking murder, setting the stage for a tense exploration of family dynamics and psychological complexities. Emily's sister, Grace, is a kleptomaniac whose compulsive stealing creates an undercurrent of tension between the sisters. Their relationship is fraught with unspoken resentments and the burden of secrets, particularly regarding Grace's past indiscretions that have drawn the attention of law enforcement.
