Synopsis

In the gripping episode Six Feet Under from the classic radio series Suspense, the audience is drawn into the harrowing life of a man who is buried alive every day as part of a carnival sideshow. The protagonist, Jack, finds himself entombed in a coffin-like box, six feet underground, for ten hours at a time. The experience is not only physically confining but also psychologically tormenting. As he lies there, he grapples with intense feelings of claustrophobia and paranoia, particularly regarding his wife, Miriam. Jack suspects that she is having an affair with Cliff, a former accountant turned carnival barker, who has recently joined the show. This suspicion gnaws at him, exacerbated by the eerie atmosphere of the carnival, where onlookers pay to gawk at him through a glass panel, treating his plight as mere entertainment.
