Synopsis

In the gripping first part of Donovan's Brain, we are introduced to Dr. Patrick Corey, a brilliant yet obsessive scientist who embarks on a controversial and ethically fraught experiment. The story opens with Dr. Corey documenting his findings in a casebook, revealing his determination to keep the brain of the deceased William H. Donovan alive in a jar. This ambitious endeavor is not merely a scientific curiosity; it is a quest that challenges the very boundaries of life and death. As he recounts his journey, the listener is drawn into a world where the lines between morality and ambition blur.
