Synopsis

In The Six Shooter, Britt Ponset, portrayed by James Stewart, rides into Clay City, a small town that seems to be at the mercy of recent criminal activity. His journey is interrupted when his horse, Scar, develops a problem with a loose shoe. Seeking assistance, Britt stops at a local blacksmith's shop, where he meets Heavy Norden, a man who is more than he appears. Their light-hearted banter about Heavy's weight quickly turns serious as the conversation shifts to the recent hold-up at the Wells Fargo station, where a man has been killed and another is critically injured.
