Synopsis

In The Search for Henri LeFevre, a gripping tale of obsession and identity unfolds as composer Adolphus Fleck experiences a horrifying revelation. Having just completed his latest symphony, he finds solace in the quiet of his home, eager to relax before dinner. However, his peace is shattered when he turns on the radio and hears his own composition playing, credited to a mysterious figure named Henri LeFevre. The music flows from the speakers, note for note, just as he had written it, igniting a wave of panic and disbelief within him. Adolphus, consumed by confusion and dread, calls for his housekeeper, Suzette, to confirm the reality of what he is hearing. Together, they listen in disbelief as the announcer declares the piece to be the 'Elegy for Orchestra, Opus 42' by Henri LeFevre.
