Synopsis
In the episode Snookums from Let George Do It, George Valentine opens his office to find Mr. Ralston waiting to discuss an unusual request. Ralston needs someone to take care of his dog, Snookums, for a couple of days, offering George a tempting payment of two hundred dollars. Although George loves dogs, he is puzzled by Ralston's urgency and reluctance to send Snookums to a kennel, especially since the dog is described as valuable and beloved by Ralston's wife. Despite Claire's instincts telling her something is off, George agrees to the arrangement, intrigued by the money and the challenge of caring for a pet.
