Synopsis
In Cause for Thanksgiving, George Valentine receives a call about a ten-year-old boy who has been found wandering the streets, mute and traumatized. The boy, who has been picked up by the police, refuses to speak, leaving the authorities puzzled about his background and the events that led him to this state. Lieutenant Riley informs George that the child was discovered at 3 a.m. on the waterfront, and two doctors suspect that he may be suffering from psychic shock due to something he witnessed.
