Synopsis

In Gunsmoke: The Partners, the atmosphere of Dodge City is electrified by the arrival of two itinerant gamblers who decide to stage a daring 'William Tell' act. With a tin can balanced on one partner's head, the performance is meant to thrill the audience, but it also poses a grave risk. U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon is immediately concerned about the safety of the townsfolk as he watches the spectacle unfold. Despite the gamblers' claims of trust in each other's marksmanship, Dillon knows that such acts can lead to tragedy.
