Synopsis
In The Buffalo Hunter, the story begins with Gatliff, a buffalo hunter, bringing a dying skinner into Dodge City. The skinner's face is horrifically burned, raising immediate questions about how such a tragedy could occur. U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon, portrayed by William Conrad, is drawn into the investigation as he learns that the skinner has died from his injuries. Gatliff's cold demeanor and lack of concern for the man's fate only deepen Dillon's suspicions.
