Synopsis

In Gunsmoke's episode Jesse, the young Jesse Pruitt arrives in Dodge City, accompanied by his malevolent friend Staph. Jesse is on a mission fueled by a thirst for revenge against the man who killed his father. The harsh realities of the Old West set the stage for a story steeped in violence and moral ambiguity, as Jesse's desire for vengeance clashes with the law represented by U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon.
