Synopsis
'The Security Agent' unfolds against the backdrop of 1956 Poland, where two middle-aged friends, Joseph Ostrovsky and Frederick Zylanko, meet regularly for dinner and chess. Their conversations reveal a deep-seated dissatisfaction with their lives under a totalitarian regime. Frederick, frustrated with the oppressive atmosphere, proposes a radical idea: to hijack a plane and force it to land in Austria instead of Prague, where they are scheduled to go for a mechanical exhibition.
