Synopsis
In The Black Curtain, Frank Townsend awakens in a disorienting haze, grappling with a reality that feels foreign and threatening. As he tries to piece together the fragments of his life, he learns from a doctor that he has been unconscious for twenty minutes after slipping on ice, but the real shock comes when he realizes that he has lost three years of his life. The last thing he remembers is July 1941, and now it is December 1944. Confusion and panic set in as he discovers he is not only disoriented but also accused of murder, a crime he cannot recall committing.
