Synopsis

In the gripping episode of Suspense titled 'Short Order,' the scene is set inside Bailey's Diner, a small establishment run by Mr. Bailey and his fry cook, Johnson. The diner is a hub of daily activity, where the two men engage in their routine of serving customers and discussing the ups and downs of their lives. However, their mundane existence is disrupted by the unsettling presence of a disfigured man who frequents the diner. This man, whose appearance is described as haunting and grotesque, becomes a source of unease for both Bailey and Johnson. As the disfigured man enters the diner, the atmosphere shifts; customers visibly react to his presence, and conversations falter. Bailey, who prides himself on his diner and its reputation, begins to feel a growing paranoia about the man's intentions and the bad luck he seems to bring with him.
