Synopsis
In The Iron Coffin, Philip Marlowe receives a call from Catherine Newbow, who urgently seeks his help in locating her daughter Irene and her fiancé Bennett. His fascination has grown to the point where he has isolated himself in a bizarre apartment filled with relics from the 16th century. Concerned for their safety, Catherine implores Marlowe to find them, as she fears they may have ventured into dangerous territory.
