Synopsis
In The False Legacy, the story begins with the arrival of two young women, Christina and Millie, in the dusty town of Benton. They are weary from their journey and anxious about the ranch they have inherited from Christina's Uncle Ned. However, their excitement quickly turns to dismay as they are met by Mr. Edwards, a lawyer who leads them to a rundown property that looks nothing like the prosperous ranch they had envisioned.
