Synopsis

In the Gunsmoke episode 'Reluctant Violence', Homer Ladely arrives in Dodge City with a noble yet dangerous mission: to convince men to give up their guns and embrace a life free from violence. Carrying a sack of gold, he is determined to spread his message, believing that a world without guns would lead to a safer society. However, his idealism clashes with the reality of the Wild West, where firearms are a symbol of power and protection.
