Synopsis
In Gunsmoke: Cavalcade, the story begins with U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon enjoying a quiet breakfast in Dodge City, accompanied by his assistant Chester. Their peaceful morning is disrupted by the arrival of Ed Hunter, a deputy sheriff from Richmond, Virginia, who brings news of two wanted men, including one named Calvin Moore, a murderer from nearly two decades ago. As Hunter describes the crimes, Matt's unease grows, especially when he learns that Calvin Moore is, in fact, his close friend, Doc Adams.
