Synopsis

In the Gunsmoke episode 'A House Ain't a Home', the story unfolds around Jedro Higg, a father who has been cast out of his own home by his son Ramey. Ramey, who has returned after a three-year absence, is not the boy Jedro once knew; he now comes back with a gang of dangerous men and a reputation for violence. As tensions rise, Jedro is deeply troubled, not only by his son's actions but also by the potential threat to his daughter Diane, who is caught in the middle of this familial strife.
