Synopsis

In the Gunsmoke episode 'Categorical Imperative', Marshal Dillon and his loyal companion Chester find themselves facing a fierce blizzard as they embark on a mission to recapture Clay Macklin, an escaped prisoner. Macklin has a reputation for cattle wrestling, and despite being in jail for two weeks awaiting trial, he has managed to slip away, leaving Dillon with the daunting task of bringing him back. The weather is treacherous, and the journey is fraught with danger, but Dillon feels a deep sense of duty to uphold the law, even when the odds seem stacked against him.
