Synopsis

In the Gunsmoke episode 'Fall Semester,' the story unfolds in the rugged landscape of the West, where cattle ranching is fraught with challenges and betrayal. Lee Dargan, a newcomer to the cattle business, finds himself in a precarious situation as he suspects his foreman, Jim Slater, of stealing his cattle. Dargan's frustration mounts as he realizes that more than half of his branded cattle have gone missing, and he has no proof to confront Slater directly.
