Synopsis
The Voice of the Wizard opens with Thomas Edison, played by Dane Clark, in a moment of distraction as he prepares for a banquet. His wife, Mary, portrayed by Donna Reed, is frustrated by his lack of readiness and urges him to hurry. Edison, however, is preoccupied with a new invention that he believes could harness the power of after-dinner speeches for productive work. This playful yet serious tone sets the stage for a deeper exploration of Edison's character and his contributions to society.
