Synopsis

'Odd Man Out' presents a gripping tale of desperation and betrayal set against the backdrop of an Irish rebellion. The story begins with Johnny and his three accomplices executing a meticulously planned robbery. However, things take a turn for the worse when Johnny is shot during the heist, leaving him vulnerable and in pain. As he struggles to keep up with his fleeing comrades, the tension escalates. The group faces not only the threat of capture by the police but also the looming fear of betrayal from within. Johnny's condition worsens, and he is forced to confront the reality that his friends may abandon him to save themselves. The narrative delves into Johnny's psyche as he reflects on his choices, his loyalty to the cause, and the love he holds for Agnes, a woman who represents hope amidst the chaos. As the police close in, Johnny's fate hangs in the balance, and the question of trust becomes paramount. Will he be left behind, or will his comrades risk everything to save him? The story builds to a tense climax, exploring themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the harsh realities of rebellion.
