Synopsis

Set against the vibrant backdrop of 1920s Chicago, The Windy City Six unfolds the tale of a jazz band navigating the treacherous waters of speakeasies, gangsters, and the ever-looming threat of violence. The story centers around Carstairs Hamilton, affectionately known as 'Rimshot' or 'Hand,' who leads the band known as the Windy City Six. The band is performing at Crazy Jack Fisher's high hat, a popular speakeasy where the atmosphere is thick with jazz and danger. As the band plays their hearts out, the tension in the air is palpable, especially when Carstairs finds himself captivated by a mysterious woman at table 13, who is flanked by two intimidating gangsters, Bull Hurley and Red Rocks Farrell.
