Synopsis

In the gripping episode Experiment 6R from the classic radio series Suspense, we delve into the mind of Morris Brandt, the assistant manager of the Carlton Plaza Hotel, who is consumed by resentment towards his superior, Mr. Paul Koblenz. The story unfolds in a setting that is both familiar and oppressive, as Brandt's daily routine involves serving coffee to Koblenz, a ritual that symbolizes his subservience and the power dynamics at play. Each afternoon at precisely 3:15, Brandt enters Koblenz's office, bearing a silver tray laden with coffee, sugar, and creamer, only to be met with Koblenz's condescending demeanor. This daily humiliation stirs a deep-seated ambition within Brandt, who yearns not only for respect but for the position that Koblenz occupies.
