Synopsis
In The Big Shot, we follow Charlie Martin, a young American mining engineer, as he arrives in Mexico with dreams of striking it rich from a newly discovered gold vein. Eager to make his mark, Charlie is initially filled with excitement and ambition, but he quickly realizes that the world of mining in Mexico is riddled with peril, both from the harsh environment and the people involved in the operation. Upon his arrival, he meets Quinn, the foreman of the mining crew, who introduces him to the local customs and the challenges they face. Quinn warns Charlie about the risks associated with their venture, hinting at the potential for violence and betrayal that lurks just beneath the surface.
