Synopsis

In the gripping episode Footfalls from the classic radio series Suspense, listeners are introduced to Bose, a blind cobbler who reflects on his life and the tumultuous relationship he shares with his son, Manuel. Bose's blindness does not hinder his ability to navigate the world; instead, it enhances his other senses, particularly his acute hearing. He possesses a remarkable talent for identifying people by their footsteps, a skill that serves as a metaphor for his deep understanding of those around him, despite his inability to see them. The story unfolds in a small, quiet town where Bose runs his shoe repair shop, a place filled with memories and the echoes of his past.
