Synopsis

In My Own Murderer, the tension unfolds as British solicitor Richard Sampson finds himself in a precarious situation when his old acquaintance, Alan Renick, appears at his doorstep late one night. The atmosphere is thick with unease, as Richard is immediately struck by the gravity of Alan's unexpected visit. It is a raw March evening, and the chill in the air mirrors the chilling news Alan brings: he has just murdered his blackmailer, Baines, in a fit of rage. Alan, desperate and panicked, seeks refuge in Richard's home, hoping that his old friend, who also serves as his legal advisor, can help him navigate the legal ramifications of his violent act.
