Synopsis

In One-Way Ride to Nowhere, private investigator Tom Dwyer finds himself at the center of a bizarre and unsettling mystery when a man is discovered dead on a roller coaster at an amusement park. The story opens with Dwyer reluctantly agreeing to ride the roller coaster with a friend, Benny, who is more enthusiastic about the thrill than Dwyer, who harbors a deep-seated fear of such rides. Their ride takes a dark turn when they notice a commotion at the end of the track. A man, previously unseen, is found lifeless in the last seat of the roller coaster, raising immediate questions about how he got there. Dwyer, with his keen instincts, quickly realizes that the victim had no ticket, suggesting that he may not have been a legitimate rider at all.
