Synopsis

In the eerie atmosphere of early 1726, Buckets of Blood opens with a night watchman, Mr. Lester, stumbling upon a severed head near the Thames. His gruesome find leads him to alert the magistrate, Mr. Justice Lambert, who is less than pleased to be disturbed at such an hour. The head is washed and displayed publicly, prompting a crowd to gather around St. Margaret's Churchyard, eager to catch a glimpse of the macabre exhibit. Among the onlookers is Catherine Hayes, whose life story intertwines with the unfolding mystery.
