Synopsis
In the gripping season opener of Richard Diamond, Private Detective, private investigator Richard Diamond finds himself embroiled in a high-stakes case. Roger Blake, the vice president of Intercontinental Indemnity, seeks Diamond's expertise to recover a staggering $800,000 in jewels that were stolen from a safe three months prior. With the thief, William Carnes, in custody in Cuba and facing extradition, Blake is desperate to locate the jewels before they are lost forever. The urgency of the situation is palpable as Blake reveals that the insurance company must pay out to the victim, Mrs. Carter, by the following Monday.
