In Arizona Plays A Part, the Lone Ranger arrives in Pecos, a town plagued by fear and uncertainty following the murder of Sam Slocum. The townspeople are convinced of his guilt, but the masked hero knows that the truth is often obscured by fear and misinformation. He seeks the help of a local padre who has been a close ally in his quest for justice. The padre reveals that he possesses a signed confession from a man named Carlos, who had knowledge of the murder before his execution for another crime. The Lone Ranger believes this confession could clear Slocum’s name, but the padre is hesitant to reveal it, fearing the violation of the seal of confession.
