Synopsis

In the Gunsmoke episode "Chester's Inheritance," Chester Proudfoot is confronted with unexpected news: he has inherited $368.63 from his late cousin, Clarence Webley Proudfoot. This revelation comes at a time when Chester is already feeling the weight of financial troubles, and the news stirs a mix of excitement and skepticism within him.
