Synopsis
In Misfire, the tension builds around an atomic bomb test known as Jack Hammer, taking place in a desolate desert landscape. As the countdown begins, the scene is set with various personnel positioned miles away, each with their own concerns about the impending detonation. However, an unexpected complication arises when a small wrench, accidentally dropped by one of the technicians, becomes lodged in the door of the bomb. This seemingly trivial oversight leads to a critical failure in the detonation circuit, creating a precarious situation for everyone involved.
