Synopsis
In the Gunsmoke episode "The Boughten Bride," the peaceful routine of Dodge City is shattered when a stagecoach carrying $50,000 in gold is held up by bandits. Among the passengers is Mr. Carter, who is eagerly awaiting the arrival of his fiancée, Jane. However, the robbery takes a darker turn when Jane is kidnapped by the assailant, leaving Carter frantic and desperate for her safe return.
