Synopsis
In this gripping episode of Dimension X, two distinct yet thematically intertwined stories are presented, both adapted from the works of Ray Bradbury. The first tale, There Will Come Soft Rains, immerses listeners in a future where a fully automated house continues its daily routines after a nuclear catastrophe wipes out its inhabitants. The house, equipped with advanced technology, prepares meals, cleans, and even plays poetry, all while the world outside lies in ruins. This stark contrast between the house's functionality and the absence of life creates an unsettling atmosphere.
