Synopsis
In the early 1700s, the coastal village of East Hampton is alive with the anticipation of a whale hunt. Samuel Malford, an experienced but weary whaler, is preparing for the dangerous task ahead. The harsh December winds whip through the village as Malford receives an unexpected visitor, Mr. Weldon, who claims to be a traveler seeking adventure. However, Malford's instincts tell him that Weldon is not what he seems.
