Synopsis
In the gripping episode General Forrest Rides Again from Cavalcade of America, we find ourselves aboard the liberty ship Bedford Forest during World War II. The ship, tasked with delivering crucial supplies, is struggling to keep pace with the convoy due to mechanical failures. Officer Maury Reynolds, who serves as the third mate, is particularly anxious, not only about the ship's condition but also about his brother's safety, who is fighting on the beachhead. The tension is palpable as they are aware of the dangers posed by enemy aircraft and submarines lurking nearby.
