In The Last Frontier, set in 1884, we meet Frederick Remington, a young artist who finds himself in the Arizona territory, a land filled with both beauty and danger. As he navigates this unfamiliar landscape, he is haunted by the sounds of distant gunfire and the threat of Comanche Indians. Remington is eager to return to the comforts of civilization, clutching railroad tickets that promise escape. Yet, his encounter with an old man, known only as the old timer, begins to shift his perspective on the West and his role as an artist.
