In The White Plague - Pt 03, Clark Kent and young Jimmy Olsen find themselves at a logging camp deep in the Northwood, where an unsettling atmosphere prevails. The camp is gripped by fear following the mysterious deaths of two lumberjacks and the strange circumstances surrounding a third man who returned only to die without uttering a word. The loggers are haunted by the superstition that cutting down trees with snow-covered roots invokes the wrath of the White Plague, a belief that has taken hold of the camp and left its workers on edge.
